This would have to be the best example of a 1959 Ford Ranchero we have ever seen. A rare and unique car, ideal for someone wanting a classic ute or pickup or promotional vehicle. Based on the full size Fairlane V8 chassis the Ranchero was Ford's alternative to the Chev El Camino. A Luxury work horse with 352ci Interceptor Ford V8 paired to an Automatic transmission. The car also features power brakes and power steering making it a pleasure to drive on the road. This example comes with many accessories including stainless steel wheel spats, working cowl spotlight, hazard switch, tonneau cover etc. The car has been beautifully restored in off white over beige and the bodywork is straight with nice gaps all round and lovely shiny paintwork. The chrome has been redone and shines brightly in the sun. Inside the car has been fully redone to original specifications in a two tone saddle trim with a bench seat and added seat belts. The bed in the back has a fitted rubber mat and is nicely painted all round, it has never been a workhorse truck with things rolling around damaging the back like most have. Unfortunately the time has come to part with our 1929 Auburn 6/80 Cabriolet. This car has been a vital part of our personal collection for the last 4 years and has won many awards for the quality of the restoration and uniqueness of the vehicle. A lovely fully restored and very rare car, the only known example in the country and one of three known to still exist in the world. The car features the largest headlights ever put on an American car as well as a dicky seat in the back to take out the whole family. The car underwent a full restoration some years ago by a very talented craftsman on the Gold Coast. The details of the car are simply stunning including the chrome and detailed woodwork of the convertible top frame. Features include 12 volt electrical system, hydraulic power assisted brakes, Dayton optional knock off wire wheels (as used on cord and Deusenbergs), 5 white wall tyres, golf bag door, dual driving lights, cowl lights and tail lights. This is a lovely example of a 1974 Triumph TR6. The car is running the original 6 cylinder engine with twin SU Carbs paired to a 4 speed manual transmission. Paint work is in good condition as is the chrome all round. The interior wood work is all nice without splitting or cracks and the interior which is finished in cream is in good condition with no rips or tears. The soft top has been replaced and is in nice condition. A great usable classic and great value TR6 for someone to hop in and enjoy.
This is an exceptional example of a rare factory big block 1961 "Bubble top" Impala. Beautifully presented in factory Sea mist Turquoise with white Impala side flash. The car's factory 348ci big block V8 has undergone a full rebuild in 2018 with very few miles traveled since. Along with the engine rebuild the car received aluminium manifolds, all aluminium pulleys, a new Holley 600cfm Carb, MSD ignition upgrade, MSD distributor, new high output alternator with billet bracket, new X flow radiator with twin thermo fans and a new high torque starter. A perfect rumble is created when you turn the key thanks to of a full new 2 and 1/2"exhaust system with performance mufflers.
The brakes were fully upgraded to power assisted items with disks on the front and new booster and master cylinder. An electric vacuum pump and tank was also added to keep things working properly at all times. Steering has been converted to a power assisted Unisteer rack and pinion system which makes the car an absolute pleasure to drive. Over the last 10 years the car has had all suspension parts removed and replaced including all bushes front and rear as well as ball joints replaced top and bottom. Driveshaft is new front to back including center bearing.
The paintwork in original Seamist Turquoise presents beautifully with only very few and minor imperfections and the chrome shines brightly without any pits or damage. The interior of the car is all completely factory original with the exception of the carpets which have been replaced and looks absolutely fantastic for a car of this age. Minor improvements include additional oil pressure and temp gauges under the dash, front lap seat belts and retro sounds radio.
The car has a perfect stance on staggered 17/18" American racing wheels and lowered suspension all round. The car is currently on full QLD registration until May 2021. These cars are becoming more and more collectible both here and in the US. Good cars like this don't tend to last long so get in quick to avoid disappointment.
