Unfortunately the time has come to part with our 1929 Auburn 6/80 Cabriolet.
This car has been a vital part of our personal collection for the last 4 years and has won many awards for the quality of the restoration and uniqueness of the vehicle.
A lovely fully restored and very rare car, the only known example in the country and one of three known to still exist in the world. The car features the largest headlights ever put on an American car as well as a dicky seat in the back to take out the whole family.
It runs a 3.0L Lycoming side valve 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed manual floor change transmission. The car underwent a full restoration some years ago by a very talented craftsman on the Gold Coast. The details of the car are simply stunning including the chrome and detailed woodwork of the convertible top frame.
Features include 12 volt electrical system, hydraulic power assisted brakes, Dayton optional knock off wire wheels (as used on cord and Deusenbergs), 5 white wall tyres, golf bag door, dual driving lights, cowl lights and tail lights. Original accessory cigarette lighter, wind up windows and wind wings. The car has been sparingly used and lovingly and carefully maintained ready for the next owner to rally on club events.
